Off to Dad Vail!
For the first time in a long time, UMass Men's Rowing is off to the Schuylkill for some Dad Vail action. If you're in the Philly area on the 11th or 12th, stop by the tent!
NERC Notes
Close, but no cigar. At the New England Regional Championships, the UMass Men fought hard and long but ended up just 0.2 seconds away from a strong third place finish in the V8 grand final. The 2V8 also found themselves in the grand final, and just edged out WPI for a fifth place finish.
McGee Cup Results
Another strong day of racing for the UMass men. With an slight headwind under 10mph, the V8, 2V8 and 3V8 battled it out against Boston College, Coast Guard, and WPI.
The Aggies came out swinging today at the Patriot Cup, sweeping the V8's for the second straight year! The competion was stiff against some great crews, but the Aggies were able to put up great results in the 1V8+, 2V8+, 1N8+, as well as getting a race under the belt for the 1N4+!
The Aggies come back from an eventful weekend with a lot of good racing experienced heading forward! Saturday marked the 2003 Cup where we faced off against WPI, Wesleyan, Colby, and Hamilton.
The Aggies are back on the water after a productive winter training camp to Savannah and start of the semester indoors on the erg! Spring break training camp offers the chance to find rhythm and swing
The Novice Men raced at the Green Monster Regatta in Dartmouth this past weekend to wrap up what has been a successful fall season for the Aggies. The team is heading indoors, ready to put in the meters over the winter in order to prepare for the Georgia winter break training camp as well as the upcoming spring season.
